1:1 coaching is for the young-ish woman who wants to figure out who she is and what she wants, once and for all.

Together, you + I will work one-on-one (at a pace that’s perfect for you) to uncover who you really are and what you really want and create a solid foundation for your life.

Then, once you finally know what your ideal life looks like, we’ll move onto creating clearly-defined goals and mapping out the tangible actions you can take to get closer to living it.

No more half-assed, half-baked dreams. No more “I’ll do it tomorrow’s.” I’m talking actual, tangible plans to move yourself off the hamster wheel and back into the real world.

No matter if your “future” includes signing up for a painting class, going back for your MBA, or simply learning how to tell that co-worker, “Not tonight, Josie, I’ve got yoga.”

Whatever YOU want is what we’ll make happen.

ABOUT JESSICA KNIGHT

“I’m 25 and my life is over.” That’s one of the things I vividly remember telling myself when I turned a quarter of a century old.

Hi, I’m Jessica Knight, life coach for women, RYT-200 and proud New Yorker. And truth be told, I spent most of my 20s hopping from job to job, city to city and relationship to relationship looking for the magic pill called happiness.

But nothing quite gave me the high I needed like learning how to face (and embrace) myself.

To date, I’ve spent hundreds of hours (and dollars) “figuring myself out” with coaching, personal development and uncomfortably-long savasanas. After busting through my own fears and finding my own voice as a yoga teacher (I’m talking going from trembling-in-my-barefeet to confidently correcting student’s postures and coming up with incredible sequences that garnered me loving students), I’ve since turned my focus toward ALL young women who need to figure out who they are and what they want.

Today, with a glorious mix of:

  • Knowledge I’ve soaked up from mentors, books and education

  • Firsthand, in-the-trenches experience

  • AND a wish list full of everything I would have died to know when I was having my first dark night of the soul…

I help my clients so they walk away with a firm grasp of who they are and what they want, plus a solid foundation to stand on for years to come (finally).

You down for that?

How does coaching actually work?

All coaches approach coaching differently, but as for me? I look at it as an honest, trusting relationship between you and I. Together, we’ll dive deep into your life, figure out what you really want and work together to get you there. Thanks to my CTI training, I have a ton of coaching tools to bring each and every call lo begin to break through the fog you’re experiencing and move to a place where you feel proud.

More into logistics? Here’s how it usually works: we’ll have a clarity call to get on the same page and answer any questions you may have. If we vibe and you feel coaching is right for you, we’ll set up a time for a Discovery Session. This is when we will have a deep conversation about your life, understand your values, setbacks, roadblocks, deep desires, big outlandish dreams (if you’ve got them, or if you’ve buried them) – all of it. After that, we’ll start having weekly (or bi-weekly) calls. As for what we’ll work on? You pick the topic each and every time, depending on what’s going on for you (maybe that’s an argument, a place you feel stuck, something you can’t stop thinking about, something you want to start, etc).

I’ve tried therapy. How is this different?

Talk about a loaded question! But here’s how I usually describe it: Therapy and therapists are medically trained and come up with a treatment plan for you. Coaches are trained in coaching techniques and tend to use a mixed bag of sources (Co-Active coaching tools, meditation, other coaching methods, etc). Therapists are usually the expert in the relationship, and there’s also a BIG focus on the past and how it’s showing up in the present. On the other hand, coaches see clients as the experts of their own lives and simply work to help the client stay on the track and working toward what they are really, truly want. In many cases, coaches also help clients figure out what exactly it is that they want (which, as you know, is my specialty).

How long until I see some results?

Right away, as long as you’re honest and open on our calls.

Is there homework?

Yes, but it’s all totally customized to you and your situation – and what works best for you.

How long do I need to commit to working with you?

The short answer is that you don’t. But the long answer is that in order to get a real feel of coaching, and allow us to build a trusting relationship, it’s best if you commit to three months of coaching minimum.

My schedule is crazy - what happens if I have to cancel?

Cancelling is totally okay as long as you give me a 12 hours notice. I get emergencies happen and will work with you on situations out of your control. However, please note that if you cancel within an hour or just miss the call I will still charge you for the session.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

If at any point during our work together you feel like it isn’t working for you, just tell me. I value your happiness and progress above eveything, so if coaching turns out to be a bad fit, all you have to do is – you guessed it – be honest with me.

Do we keep in contact in between calls?

Totally up to you! Some clients check in with me via email and keep me updated (which I LOVE), while others are hyper focused and save all the goodies for our calls. It feels like I’m repeating myself, but it really does depend on what works best for you.

Do you only work with women?

I mostly work with women and will work with men if it’s the right fit. If you’re a guy and everything I’ve said on my website resonates with you, feel free to book a Clarity Call and we’ll take it from there.

My goal is that every single client I come in contact with walks away feeling proud of who she is and turned on by the possibilities for her own life.  My goal is that she can not only set intentions in alignment with who she is, but actually follow through, too.
