Be willing to feel new feelings.
That is the theme that has organically grown in my coaching this sessions this week.
I’ve noticed that people are often SO AFRAID to feel something different EVEN (and sometimes especially) when what they are used to feeling is painful.
This mantra is so helpful in the moments when you are trying to break a habit, going into a new situation you may be nervous about, having a conversation you are afraid to have, taking a risk, starting a workout, stopping a behavior.
Try this on next time you feel the resistance: I am going to choose to feel new feelings.
